How to set your daily production goal

Where is it located?
New Daily Goal is located at the bottom of Production KPI panel on the Home page of Practice IQ.

What does it mean?
New Daily Goal is the dollar amount that office needs to produce per day to reach the Production goal for the month. New Daily goal is calculated automatically by the system, once the Production (gross) goal is set. If you want to increase or decrease it, you'll have to change the monthly Production goal.
It is based on the month's Production goal, Month-to-Date Production (gross) and the number of days with appointments left on the schedule for the month.
It's calculated by dividing the remaining gross production for the month by the number of days with appointments left on the schedule.
New Daily Goal = Remaining Gross Production / Scheduled days remaining in the month
(Remaining Gross Production: Monthly Gross Production goal - Month-to-date Gross Production)

How to set it up?
There's a little right-facing arrow at the top-right of the Production panel with a Set Goals menu item. Clicking on Set Goals opens a window to set goal for the Gross Production. New Daily goal only populates when you set an office wide Gross Production goal.
Example:
Question: Practice has set its 'June' goal at $80,000 and so far in the month they have produced $32,000. They have 12 scheduled days remaining in the month of June. What is their new daily goal?
Answer:
New Daily Goal = Remaining Gross Production / Scheduled days remaining in the month
(Remaining Gross Production: Gross Production goal for June - Gross month-to-date production at the end of yesterday)
($80,000 - $32,000) / 12 = $4000

Daily Goal
Daily Goal is located at the bottom of New Patients KPI Panel.
Daily Goal is the number of new patients that office needs see per day to reach the New Patient's goal for the month.
It automatically populates when the New Patients goal is set for the office.
To set it up click on the little right-facing arrow at the top-right of the New Patients panel with a Set Goals menu item. Clicking on Set Goals opens a window to set goal for the New Patients.
