How to instantly refresh and update a patient's information in PBN
Whenever you make a change to a patient in your PMS, PBN automatically syncs and picks up the new information. This sync occurs every 15 minutes. So, if you just changed a patient's treatment plan, for example, and want to send it to a patient, you would typically have to wait for the information to update.
Using the refresh takes away that wait time by allowing you to force a sync on just that patient's information.
First, you will need to open that Patient's Overview Window. You can do this from almost anywhere by clicking on a patient's name or searching for them. A magnifying glass icon is at the top right of the website. You can just select that and begin typing the patient's name you are looking for, and then select them.
Once you've selected your patient, it should open their Patient Overview Window on the right. From here, you only have to click on the rotating arrow icon towards the top of the panel. You should see a small confirmation message at the bottom left indicating it is working, and the patient's information should be updated momentarily.
