In the Eaglesoft Appointment module, right click on the specific appointment and select "Delete this Appointment". A dialog window will appear and here's what you should select and deselect. Choose the appointment as either "Failed" or "Cancelled", depending on your office policy. Now make sure the "Add to QuickFill List" is deselected. What will happen is if a new appointment is made using that appointment listed in the Quick Fill list, then PBN does not have a way of tracking the history of that failed or cancelled visit. Click the button above for more info.

When posting the adjustments in Eaglesoft, it is crucial that the adjustments are selected to impact Adjustments and not to impact Production. If the latter is selected, the provider the treatment was assigned to will have a negative production item assigned to him the day the insurance payment is entered. To rectify this click on the button above.

If you want to reconcile Eaglesoft reports to the dashboards in Practice IQ, when creating adjustment types, you need to set up almost all of your adjustments (the other category is below) to "impact" Adjustments. Otherwise if assigned differently there will be negative production items instead of adjustments. Your writeoffs will appear as 0 in PBN with the inability to be able to analyze your adjustments by type in PBN. Plus your reports in Eaglesoft will most of the time not match what you'll see in PBN. Click the button above for more info.

Sometimes you may find Adjustments in PBN reports that you cannot find in Eaglesoft. We have noticed that Eaglesoft, by default hides these adjustments which could be either be a deleted or modified transaction in the patients ledger. Click the button above for more info.

In Eaglesoft if multiple plans are created to treat the same problem it is very crucial on how they are managed to avoid the amount of duplicate codes being added to the Presented Treatment amount. If there is a primary or recommended plan, make sure that only that particular plan is labeled as "Proposed". The other plans should be labeled as "Rejected" after all the choices have been discussed with the patient. Click on the button above for more info.

Eaglesoft by default deletes all completed treatment plans items. In the Treatment Acceptance expanded window Treatment Plan list, you'll see many with the title "!!Plan Name Not Found". Those rows will show the proposed, accepted, and completed amounts but will not be visible in the Treatment Plan tab in the pop up window when you select a patient in this list. To rectify this, see the article above.

Make sure in the Edit Patient - Preferences panel that a Recall Frequency is set so a Due Date will get created in Eaglesoft and proper service codes are associated with the next Recall appointment in Eaglesoft. Then Practice IQ will be able to give you accurate information in reports regarding Overdue Recall reports. Click on the button above for more information.

Practice IQ in evaluating the Hygiene PreAppointment rate is scanning the patients next visit for a hygiene related code. To make that next Recall appointment register, you have to do select the Add Services button after selecting the Appointment Type in Eaglesoft. Click on the button above for more information.

To see numbers in an Eaglesoft report that will display similar numbers to Practice IQ,
you must select "Other Range of Dates" in the filter settings for the report. Click on the button above for more info.

If you are trying to reconcile with Eaglesoft, the reports have to be set at Range of Dates, not End of Days or End of Month report filters. Click on the button above for more info.
