In our commitment to delivering an exceptional user experience, we deployed a series of critical issue resolutions implemented in December 2023. These fixes address various concerns raised by our users, enhancing the functionality and reliability of our system. Let's delve into the details of the resolved issues and the improvements made:

Patient Flow: Accurate Elapsed Time Display

Resolved Issue: Elapsed time not displaying accurately without a page refresh.

Resolution: The system has been updated to ensure that the elapsed time is now displayed accurately in real-time, eliminating the need for a page refresh. This enhancement streamlines the patient flow process, providing users with up-to-date information seamlessly.

OAB (Online Appointment Booking): Enhanced Confirmation Messages

Resolved Issue: Appointment booking confirmation message lacking patient's name; SMS not including proper merge tag values.

Resolution: The appointment booking confirmation message now prominently displays the patient's name, enhancing communication. Additionally, SMS now includes the correct merge tag values for the patient's name, ensuring a personalized and professional communication process.

Appointment Reminders Campaign: Improved Appointment Time Updates

Resolved Issue: merge tag not updating appointment time based on "Ask to arrive early" settings.

Resolution: The merge tag has been refined to update the appointment time sent to the patient according to the "Ask to arrive early" special settings. This ensures that patients receive accurate and timely reminders, contributing to a smoother appointment experience.

Duplicate Appointments Issue: Prevention of Duplicates

Resolved Issue: Creating an appointment through Schedule resulting in duplicate appointments.

Resolution: Creating appointments through the Schedule will no longer generate duplicate entries. This fix ensures data accuracy and prevents potential scheduling conflicts, streamlining the appointment creation process.

Eaglesoft’s Quickfill Appointments: Proper Classification in PBN’s Schedule

Resolved Issue: Quickfill appointments showing as regular appointments in PBN’s Schedule.

Resolution: Eaglesoft’s Quickfill appointments, when created directly, will no longer be classified as regular appointments in PBN’s Schedule. This correction ensures a more accurate representation of the schedule.

Automatic Deregistration Process: Improved Kiosk Registration Stability

Resolved Issue: Kiosks occasionally losing registration due to automatic deregistration.

Resolution: The automatic deregistration process has been removed, preventing kiosks from losing registration intermittently. This improvement enhances the overall stability and reliability of the registration process.

iOS Kiosk App Accessibility: Streamlined Download Process

Resolved Issue: iOS kiosk app not accessible for download on the Forms registration page and within the practice’s Forms > Tablets page.

Resolution: The iOS kiosk app is now conveniently accessible for download on the Forms registration page and within the practice’s Forms > Tablets page. This ensures a smoother experience for users looking to utilize the iOS kiosk app.

Campaigns: Comprehensive Custom Campaign Patient Lists

Resolved Issue: Custom campaign patient list empty when a campaign is created from RevenueIQ, Calendar/Schedule, and dashboard tables.

Resolution: The custom campaign patient list will now be populated correctly when a campaign is created from various sources, providing users with a comprehensive view of campaign participants.

Treatment Plan: Transparent Presentation of "Balance" and "Tax"

Show Balance:

Resolved Issue: "Balance" not shown to patients when presenting a treatment plan.

Resolution: Enabling the ‘Show Balance’ setting will now include the Current Balance amount into the Estimated Patient Portion of the treatment plan cost table. Both negative and positive Current Balance values will be shown. In cases where the Current Balance is zero, the Treatment Costs table will display the zero value.

Show Tax:

Resolved Issue: "Tax" not shown in the Estimated Patient Portion of the treatment plan cost table.

Resolution: Enabling the ‘Show Tax’ setting will include the Tax amount in the Estimated Patient Portion of the treatment plan cost table. This enhancement provides a comprehensive overview of the treatment plan costs, including applicable taxes. If the Tax amount is zero, the Tax row will not be displayed in the Treatment Costs table. (Note: As of December 2013, three states – Hawaii, Minnesota, and New Mexico – have imposed some form of “tax” or “fee” on dental services.)

Forms: Efficient Handling of Manual Completion

Resolved Issue: Date selector persisting when marking a form as manually completed.

Resolution: Selecting "manually completed" now sets the completion date to the current date, eliminating the date selector. Consequently, forms will be recommended to patients even if they were manually completed in the office. This streamlines the form completion process, ensuring accurate recommendations to patients.

Duplicated Forms: Prevention of Duplicates

Resolved Issue: In a new practice, forms duplication occurring when swiftly navigating between the Forms > Forms tab and the Packages tab before the forms finish loading.

Resolution: Forms duplication will no longer occur when swiftly navigating between the Forms > Forms tab and the Packages tab in a new practice. This correction ensures data integrity and a seamless user experience.

Grow App Integration with RingCentral: Refined Phone Number Interaction

Resolved Issue: Clicking on a valid phone number in the patient window triggering the popover with available extensions' ring-out functionality.

Resolution: Clicking on a valid phone number in the patient window within the Grow App will no longer trigger the popover with available extensions' ring-out functionality.
