PbN Printer
How to upload Statements and Treatment plans from your PMS.
The PbN Printer can seamlessly upload patient statements and treatment plans from your practice management system. A PDF version of the patient's Statement or treatment plan can then be emailed or texted to the patient.
To get started, you can email support@practicenumbers.com to enable the PbN printer for your Practice. Once the PbN printer is enabled, you will navigate to Forms > PbN Printer.
Once here, you will select Download Setup File. Once the file has been downloaded, you will enter the PbN printer UID (see the image below). The same UID can be used across multiple computers. The PbN printer will then be connected and ready for use.
Under the PbN Printer List, you can view or download the PDFs sent to patients using the printer.
Treatment Plans
To upload a Treatment Plan, you will go to the patient's overview and select Send Form from the treatment plan or Send Treatment Plan from the Comm Center.
Once pulled up, you will select the treatment plan from the drop-down menu under PbN Printer Attachment. You can save this treatment plan to your PbN Printer list or select "Delete after invitation sent" if you do not wish to save it to PbN.
Statements
To upload patient Statements, you will navigate to the Payments tab, where you can select the paper clip icon next to any patients currently under follow-up or the Payment Request icon under the Comm Center.
From here, you can select PBN Printer and upload the Statement to be sent to the patient. You can save the Statement to the PbN Printer List within PbN or select "Delete after attaching" if you do not wish to save it.
