Matching Production Numbers in Open Dental
What settings Practice by Numbers uses when calculating adjusted production numbers.
Practice by Numbers uses "Use initial claim date for write-off estimates, ins pay date for write-off adjustments" when calculating Adjusted production numbers. Please make sure that option is selected when running production reports.

We do not use "procedure date" to measure adjustments to keep your production from previous days or months from changing. Imagine a case when you receive payment for an appointment from 6 weeks ago. If "procedure date" is used to measure adjustments, your adjusted production from 2 months ago will suddenly change. By using the third option in the screenshot, you avoid that problem.
