What to do if your account is locked?

User Accounts get locked after 5 failed attempts to log in to the system. Practice by Numbers must be contacted to get the account unlocked. Below are the steps.

 There are 3 ways to contact us to get the account unlocked

  1. Message via the support chat on the practicenumbers.com website. You'll need to leave the email address associated with your User Account. 

  2. Email support@practicenumbers.com about being locked out. Make sure that the email address associated with the User Account is listed.

  3. Call 866-216-8416 ext. 408 on Mon - Fri 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

The account will be unlocked, and an email will be sent with a link to create a new password. Before using the link, you must do the following to avoid getting locked out again.  

1. Go to the settings for your browser and delete all browser history and cache. You can easily use any search engine (Google, Bing) to find out how to do that for the brand of browser you are using. Using Internet Explorer is not recommended.  

2. if the browser stores any passwords, delete any stored ones involving Practice by Numbers. (You can use Google or Bing to find out where the setting is.)

3. Delete all previous emails containing earlier links to create a password.  

When you go back in, the site will request your office's Practice Code. This code can be obtained from the main Office Administrators or Practice Owners.  

After these steps, you can use the link and get back into the system!
