Kiosk App
How to use the Kiosk App on your iPad.
When using an iPad for patients to fill out forms, we recommend downloading the PBN Kiosk app. This can be found on the App Store or by scanning the QR code provided when you navigate to Forms > Tablets.
Once you've downloaded the app, you will be taken to this screen. To register your device, you will return to your Forms > Tablets page and select Add a New Tablet. You'll name the tablet and then be given the pairing code, which you can enter or scan the QR code from your iPad.
Once connected, you can check patients in from the tablet and have them fill out forms.
You will also have the added benefit of Practice Access. This will allow you to search for a patient, send them forms and treatment plans, upload documents, and add a patient profile picture. You can also view your schedule and your patient's information from there.
Once you click on practice access, you will be prompted to enter a 4-digit code. This code can be found by going back to your Tablets page under forms and selecting the edit icon next to the device that you are using. In this case, we are using the Test 1 tablet. The pin can also be changed to any 4 digit code.
Once you've accessed this, you can search your patients and directly send them Forms & Consents, Treatment Plans, Take a patient profile photo and Scan cards/documents.
You will also be able to find your patients via a schedule view where you can see their appointment information, Check them in, and quickly access forms, treatment plans, patient photos, and scan documents.
Lastly, you can change any Kiosk settings by selecting the Cog Wheel on the upper right-hand side.
