How to fill out the A2P 10DLC registration in Practice by Numbers

10DLC registration is a new industry mandate put into effect in early 2022. 10DLC registration is designed to help carriers and regulatory entities verify messaging traffic and phone numbers to ensure that only trusted messages are delivered and that all unverified traffic, spam, and malicious or fraudulent activity are minimized.

Important Information

10DLC submission for registration is required by March 31st, 2023

All the major networks - Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile/Sprint - are now handling 10DLC traffic. If you do not submit a registration of your 10DLC numbers by the March 31st deadline, regulatory entities, and carrier networks may block your SMS traffic and impose fines.

Practice by Numbers will cover all registration fees if registered before the March 31st, 2023 deadline. Any registration fees accumulated after the March 31st, 2023 deadline will be passed onto the customer. This includes a $4 Brand registration fee and a $15 campaign fee imposed by The Campaign Registry (TCR).

How to Register

To begin registration, find the Menu icon at the top right of PbN and select the Settings option in the dropdown. 

From the settings page, find the Communication section and select A2P 10DLC Settings below it.  

From here, you must provide your legal business name, Federal Tax ID/EIN, and essential business information. Once registered, Practice by Numbers will send the information to the TCR on your behalf to help you register.

Please check that all the information you enter matches the information you used to register your business in your state. Inaccurate information can result in the carriers rejecting your registration. Customers are responsible for resubmission fees (currently $4 per resubmission).
