Dentrix and Multiple Treatment Plans

Dentrix and Multiple Treatment Plans Multiple treatment plans designated "Alternate" or will not affect your Proposed Treatment dollar amount. 

In Dentrix if there are multiple treatment plans to treat the same problem,  you should link those treatment plans. One will be set as the "Recommended Case" and the rest as "Alternate".  If categorized in that manner only the recommended plan will be included in the Treatment Presented amount in the Treatment Acceptance Office and Treatment Acceptance Provider panels.  

If there are multiple unique treatment plans for the patient they should be left as separate treatment plans.  That way the total amount of those plans will be included in the Treatment Presented dollar amounts.
