Dentrix and Appointment Types
Dentrix and Appointment Types How to make the Practice IQ Production Projections more accurate for Dentrix usersWhen Practice IQ is tabulating a Projection, if the office is using Dentrix, what will happen is if it is involving an appointment where the only service code/s applied have no fee amount. What will happen is Practice IQ adds a value to that appointment derived from a 12 month average of Production per Appointment for the office. The result is the Projection number will be larger than the Scheduled Production view in Dentrix.
To rectify this remember when creating an appointment that will have a zero amount, adust the type to Low Production. Then all of those appointments will be isolated from having an actual production amount applied to it.
