Assigning Treatment Coordinators/Office staff to Treatment Plans

There are two methods to track Treatment Plans by Treatment Coordinator:

  1. First method - to edit which Provider and Treatment Coordinator/Office Staff is assigned to a Treatment Plan, you can edit the list of those plans.

When looking at a list of Treatment Plans in your chosen Date Range, select the blue arrow on the upper right of the Treatment Acceptance Provider panel and choose

"Edit Treatment Team".

 

In the panel that will open is a list of every plan created in the Date Range your page is set at. By selecting the Treatment Plan(s), you can change which Doctor, Hygienist, or Treatment Coordinator is to be affiliated with that specific plan.

 

2. The second method - using a specific service code to trace Treatment Coordinators to Treatment Plans is below:

  1. Create a provider category for each Treatment Coordinator in your office in your PMS.

  2. Create a Service Code that will be applied to that Treatment Coordinator in your PMS. Do not assign it to the Doctor or Hygienist.

  3. Add that Service Code you created to the "Treatment Presented by Coordinator" section in the Settings - Service Code Sets page in PBN.

When that Service Code is entered in that provider category when a Treatment Plan is created, the plan will get assigned to whoever that Treatment Presented code was delegated to.

For proper tracking, this code must be entered into the ledger on the same day the Treatment plan is entered into the Practice Management Software.
