Assigning Custom Dashboards

How to assign and share custom dashboards.

Ensure you are first proficient in the basics of making a custom dashboard.

To assign/share what you have created, open the menu at the upper right of the page. The "edit" option will be visible in the menu.

What will appear are the available options that can be configured in a custom dashboard. Selecting "Share with" will open a drop-down menu to select who can view the page you are making. You can make it so every user in the office can see the page or select the individual or group of individuals for the page viewing. This is crucial in making a restricted user account. A restricted user can only see custom pages that are shared with them. Otherwise they would not be able to see a single dashboard page.

The individual who creates the custom page is the "Owner" of the page. Only the "Owner" can edit, select who to share it with, or delete the page. The non-owner is limited to the ability to make it their Home page or to duplicate the page to begin as a basis for making their own custom page.
