Appointment Reminder/Confirmation Message Selection
In the setup for the Follow-up Appointment Reminders Campaign, when the Edit button is selected for the SMS or Email message, you'll see multiple messages. Below is from the Save the Date Reminder category which is sent when an appointment is initially created or modified.
The message that will be sent will depend on if the appointment is for one single person or multiple family members being seen the same day. That way patients will not get redundant messages regarding each scheduled family member.
If the appointment day and time are being changed, a unique message will be sent regarding the change.
In the subsequent steps of the campaign. The message that will be sent will depend on the status of the appointment. If the appointment already has the confirmed status, the message body will be a reminder of the upcoming visit. If the status is unconfirmed, the message will request a response to confirm the scheduled visit.
Each step in the campaign also has an option to choose that only appointments with an unconfirmed status will get a message from this step in the campaign.
