Alternative Method of New Patient Follow-up Tasks

Use this method if there are tasks that would not populate in a list of Unscheduled Recall or Treatment.

If an office wants to follow up with a New Patient with a General Task and would like the Task to have all the "Log Contact" entry options, create the list in this manner:

Go to Revenue IQ and begin to create a search after selecting "Preappointments."

 

Now you'll be changing the Search filters so it's not going to show you non-preappointed patients but the New Patients Seen for your preferred date range.

First, you'll be removing the "Services not Scheduled" and "Last Contacted" filters and adding the First Visit filter.

 

After putting the same date range in both the Services Completed and First Visit areas, the Search will generate your New Patients Seen list. Tasks created from this list can have the title changed to show it's related to New Patients Follow-ups.
